Nangolo Well is (almost) Complete
The village of Nangolo is overjoyed to have access to water. The well has been drilled, all of the pipe work laid, and the water holding tank installed. While the contractors are waiting for the UMEME electric company to run electric lines to the village, hand pumps have been installed at the three tap stand locations so villagers have access water.
A message from Jimmy Watuwa:
“Warm greetings and congratulations on the completion of Nangolo well. We have completed all the work except the electricity. We are only waiting for UMEME, the electric company, to come and build the electricity line to the site before we install the final pump. In the meantime, we have provided the local community with a temporary hand pumps as you may see from the photographs, as we wait to install a powered pump.”
