Dr. Lewis Gordon, philosophy and Judaic studies professor at Temple University, founder and co-director of Temple's Center for Afro-Jewish Studies, whose own ancestry reflects Jewish diversity (19th century immigrants from Jerusalem, Egypt, and Ireland on his mother's side) will explore the various contemporary examples of Jewish identity in Africa.
